The Importance of Chocolate

Chocolate played an important role in religion. It was very important to the Mayan people. They made it differently than us as well. They did not have the chocolate in bars but instead ground from the beans and had different spices added to make it chocolate. Chocolate back in the Mayan time is very different than what it is today in America.
